Volunteer at one of the South African Animal Sanctuary Alliance's three sanctuaries in Plettenberg Bay - Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary, Birds of Eden or Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary - or our newest sanctuary, Monkeyland-KZN in KwaZulu-Natal.

Volunteers will be considered if they can understand and speak English, are hard-working, fast-learning, enthusiastic and prepared to cheerfully fulfil tasks. Whatever your skills, interests and experience, we are sure that we can help you find the right volunteer programme at one of our sanctuaries, that you'll have an amazing time and make memories that will last a lifetime.

For more information about each of our volunteer programmes, take a look at our sanctuary websites - Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Jukani, Monkeyland-KZN or contact Paula, our Volunteer Coordinator.

Media Volunteers in Plettenberg Bay are based at Monkeyland but may work across all three sanctuaries.  More information about our media volunteer programme is contained in the 'A Day at SAASA Plettenberg Bay - Media Volunteers' document below.

If you feel that volunteering with us is not 100% the right move for you but you still wish to assist us in some way please feel free to donate money, services and/or goods to assist SAASA. You could do so by contacting us.
